Finally the day came when my home-brewed beer is ready to drink after 14 days in bottles with added sugar to create carbonic acid. Then a week in my beer fridge in the garage. I had promised Mette that she should be at home when there should be tasted beer, so I had to wait patiently for Mette came home late in the day after having been visiting a friend :-).
Since this is the first time I brew beer, I was naturally very excited about the result. Can it be drunk, or should it just in the sink…..
Part of the process is of course to enjoy the smell of beer and the color while it poured into the glass:-)
Then it will be interesting how I look in the head after the first tasting. Mette thought that perhaps there was a change that I would spit it all out again… But no, it's beer.
I am actually quite happy with the result. The beer tastes good. But the best is of course to know that I even brewed beer.
