At the end of July, Lise and the girls were visited by the Delong family who were back in the USA on summer vacation. Lise met Yukiyo and her two girls through the mother group back when we had just moved to the US for 14 years ago. We have been fortunate to be able to maintain contact even though they moved to Hong Kong a few years later, where Yukiyo's husband Jim got offered work.

However, they need their house in the Frederick area which is rented out, so their they usually come once a year a trip to the usa to partly visit Jim family, inspect the house and visit a few select friends. We appreciate two thanks for continuing one on the list of the friends they would like to visit.

Jim, however, could not get time off work and remained in Hong Kong while the family was in the United States. Torben was not home either. He was at work at Newark Airport.
