Again this year participated Torben Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally in Washington DC with the other boys from the motorcycle club. Mette was with us as a passenger and had been looking forward to the experience since last September she was on the trip in memory of those who fell in connection with 11 September.

Rolling thunder is for a motorcycle rider a huge experience and one of the biggest events in the area with around 500.000 – 600.000 motorcycles in DC. This year the experience was even greater as my good friend HC had the opportunity to turn around on a rented motorcycle and thus participated in The Patriot Ride from Fairfax, VA Harley Davidson ind to Washington.

High school, Trine and Sarah had decided to go in and experience the events in Washington with Marie (the Danish exchange student who lives with our neighbour). Since all of Washington is closed to cars on this day, they had decided to drive into Washington by subway.
Sarah discovered that Donald Trump was giving a speech to the crowd down in the Mall area, but they did not get close enough to see him.
