In many ways it has been a busy spring with many activities, so that it was difficult to find a weekend where Trine could celebrate hers 16 year's birthday party. She has been planning for months that this party should be mixed boys and girls, with various activities and games for entertainment.

The basement was ready as part disco and cozy area, but table tennis and pool. In addition, Trine and some of her friends were busy with decorations , as well as inflating balloons.

The guests arrived at. 18.00. They were invited to a barbecue with ribs, sausages, burgers and what else goes with it. Trine had baked the birthday cake herself (cupcakes) and, together with her friends, prepared some of the side dishes for the food. Lise had helped with salad. Torben was given the task of barbecue and ribs.

Kl. 23:00 the last boys were then picked up after which the girls continued to party in the basement until at one point they started inflating air mattresses and getting ready to sleep. At that point, Lise and I had long since gone to bed.

Trine mentioned the next day that it had been the best birthday party in a long time and that everyone had really enjoyed themselves. Lise and I were happy to see that it was some calm and pleasant young people who all had a pleasant evening.
