We have talked for several years about going camping during the summer, but that has been the talk. At the beginning of July we decided on a quick camping trip to the Greenbrier state party, small 40 minutes by car north of Frederick. In fact, it is all 8 years since we were last camping in the same area we discovered, yes, time passes. Don't think we've been out with our tent since the girls were Girl Scouts, so it was naturally exciting to see if everything was still in good condition or if we had to sleep under the open sky.
Lise had to go to work on Saturday morning, so Torben and the girls drove out to the site early Saturday morning to set up the tent and unpack. Trine had to go to work for dinner, so it was fitting that we could drive Trine to work and pick up camping gas and other small things at the same time. At the end of the afternoon, Lise and Trine came, then back to the campsite. We had some really nice hours by the fire, grill and whatever else goes with it…
