Mette had a goal and that was to be able to drive herself to school after the summer holidays, so she was partly independent from having to drive home from sports with others, But most importantly it was not to have to by bus to school, As well as the freedom of being able to drive at work and out to her girlfriends.
August was therefore in many ways bootcamp with concentrated driving lessons. Our focus was parking, Since Mette had no problem with driving in regular traffic, city driving or highway. Mette was very nervous about the test, So we decided she should take the driving test in the losing car we had. Torben bought a used Ford Mondeo in December 2017. Trine driven to school in the car all spring, So we spent the last hours in the evening, afternoons and weekends with concentrated driving in the smaller car instead of the big pickup truck.
Mette passed the driving test it 14 August 2018 uden problemer selvom hun var meget nervøs da hun først skulle udfører de grundlæggende tests på bane og derefter ud at kører med en motorsagkyndig. Men hun bestod uden nogle bemærkninger. Da vi kørte hjem sage Mette at det vil hun aldrig prøve ingen, hvor til jeg kun kunne sige at så må hun jo heller overholde færdselsreglerne 
And, det kan jo ske at man rammer keglen. Kun har den overlevet Mette og Trine…. Så men ikke den kan klarer Sarah også
Hjemme igen fik Mette en hurtig frokost iden hun tog afsted på hendes første tur selv uden hendes far som instruktør. Tillykke Mette. Super flot.
