Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early spring on “Groundhog Day”, as it did not see its shadow :-). March and April have so far shown themselves from the nice side with higher temperatures, with the right mix of sun and rain. The grass has started to grow, spring flowers are coming up from the ground and leaves are coming on our trees.

We have slowly started the spring work in the garden and cleaning our deck and garden furniture with a high-pressure cleaner. A task that Mette handles completely on her own without supervision, apart from a helping hand in carrying the largest garden furniture down to the grass.

More exciting and challenging is learning Sarah has to drive the garden tractor. Sometime after Christmas, Torben will start Sarah's first driving lessons in our truck, corresponding to Mette and Trine, so the garden tractor is the first initial exercises in operating a motor vehicle, at vi så får slået græs samtidig er jo bare en lille side gevinst 🙂

Sarah klarende den første time flot, selvom det for hende var noget overvældende. Det skal nok blive godt inden efteråret og ikke mindst inden vi skal ud på vejene i en bil…..
