Today came the big day Trine have waited on with joy and excitement – hendes confirmation. Last fall, she started with confirmation classes in Bucketstown United methodical church. The original plan was that she should have been confirmed in the Danish Church in Washington DC, but they closed for January, so we had to finde an alternative in the area. Trine, Mette and Sarah has the last 2 years participated in the nativity scene for Christmas in this church, so you could say that Trine had a sense of belonging to this church, and present, so we squirt if she would Confirmation Trine and luckily she saw “And”.
After the ecclesiastical action, celebrated the church partly konfirmanterne, second, that the church year started and was therefore host a small gathering before we and our guest continued, they even create rooms we had rented.
All in all we were about 40 people in 30 adults and 10 children. We were lucky that some of the family from Denmark had the opportunity to participate and help to make Trine's day special.
