Mette has long wanted the opportunity to celebrate the birthday in Denmark, but due. that her birthday is in late November, it has been a problem getting it to fit with school holidays, and holiday. This year we decided to go to Denmark for Thanksgiving holiday. So that Mette could get her wish fulfilled. By good fortune Mette and Sarah only half days at school Monday – Wednesday, so their absence was no problem. We were allowed to take Trine out of school against her had made her homework while we were in Denmark. So Trine and Torben were busy with math in the plane on the way to and from Denmark. In addition, Trine any written work which she also shot the plane, as the 8 hours were spent efficiently and effectively. 🙂
The anniversary was celebrated in Barrow Farm banquet hall where everyone was invited for morning coffee, then we had a lovely day together, which partly kids the same relaxed with various activities and we adults could get fun, talking. Mette sage on the way home that she thought it had been a really nice day, so many thanks to the family to help make the day special for Mette.
Sunday morning should we up early (although it was Mette's birthday). We were at the airport and travel back to the US. Mette however, had time to open gifts from morning stunden before we were out the door.
Home again was Mette's birthday celebrated at Red Robin – a burger restaurant as Mette would like to eat dinner at and where they sang a birthday song for her while she got an ice cream dessert.
